The Performing Arts Network, a general incorporated association, has announced the full program for “Performing Arts Base 2025,” Japan’s largest comprehensive performing arts event. This event spans all areas of the performing arts industry—from the front stage, including productions, actors, and performers, to the backstage, encompassing direction and production—enabling connections and experiences across the entire field. Centered around the Tokyo International Forum’s Ground Plaza, PAB will hold a pre-festival event on Thursday, October 2, 2025, followed by the main festival running for three days from Friday, October 3, to Sunday, October 5. Over 20 diverse and engaging content offerings will be available for free viewing and participation by all, featuring everything from short outdoor performances of popular productions and hands-on performing arts workshops to talk sessions and symposiums, providing a rich variety of perspectives to enjoy.
