Brain Sleep x NTT East x Ota Sleep Science Center Dramatically reduces the number of medical interviews using diagnostic data and AI

(Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Kosuke Michibata; hereinafter “Brain Sleep”), Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Fukuzo Inoue; hereinafter “NTT East”), and the Ota Sleep Science Center (Location: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Director: Shintaro Chiba; hereinafter “Ota Sleep Science Center”) of the Ota General Hospital Memorial Research Institute (NTT East), and the Ota Sleep Science Center at the Ota General Hospital Memorial Research Institute (Location: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Director: Shintaro Chiba; hereinafter referred to as the “Ota Sleep Science Center”) have developed a machine learning model with the aim of reducing the burden of medical interviews used in the diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome*1, and have succeeded in reducing the number of medical interviews and ensuring the accuracy of the diagnosis.
