George & Schoen, Inc., a provider of healthcare services using Cognivida, an AI for estimating cognitive function in the elderly, together with Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co., Ltd. have been selected for the “Be Smart KOBE Project” promoted by the City of Kobe, and will begin a demonstration of the “Creation of an online frail/dementia prevention community” for the elderly. With this adoption, the two companies will hold discussions with Kobe City to implement the demonstration project and contribute to the city’s goal of becoming a “smart city” that improves the quality and convenience of life for its citizens by using advanced technologies such as data and sensor technologies to solve various problems faced by citizens and the community.
