Nature Inc. conducted a “Lifestyle and Time Awareness Survey” on time usage and time performance awareness related to lifestyle activities at home.
The survey results showed that people in their 20s to 50s share the same awareness in terms of seeking time efficiency, and that they unknowingly spend time operating remote controls and switches, which are essential for actions and movements in the house. An average of 36 times per day was spent operating remote controls, which accounts to approximately 3,360 hours spent per lifetime .
