Brain Sleep Inc. Signs Sleep Support Sponsorship Agreement with DONUTS VARREL, One of Japan’s Leading Professional eSports Teams
Brain Sleep Inc. has signed a sleep support sponsorship agreement with DONUTS VARREL, one of Japan’s premier professional eSports teams.
In Japan, the eSports market continues to expand and is expected to approach 20 billion yen by 2025 (1). However, concerns have emerged regarding “declining sleep quality” caused by factors such as long hours of screen time and a night-oriented lifestyle, both of which can pose health risks (2).
In a unique sleep improvement program conducted by Brain Sleep with DONUTS VARREL’s Overwatch division in 2024, they successfully visualized and improved sleep status, with results suggesting potential improvements in in-game performance as well (*3).
Going forward, Brain Sleep plans to provide ongoing sleep support to players in other DONUTS VARREL divisions and further raise awareness of the importance of sleep throughout the eSports industry.
