Sleep quality deteriorates the most in July: Original analysis of the relationship with seasons based on one year of sleep measurement data.

BrainSleep Inc. conducted a one-year analysis of sleep data in collaboration with the Stanford University Center for Sleep and Circadian Neurobiology (SCNL) to clarify the relationship between sleep and the seasons.

The analysis utilized one year of sleep data collected from users of BrainSleep’s sleep measurement tool, the “BrainSleep Coin,” to examine how sleep changes from month to month. The results revealed that July showed the most significant decline in sleep quality throughout the year, including shorter overall sleep duration and reduced deep sleep, which is considered the most important stage of sleep.
